12 Days of Family Trip: Part 7 - Kelowna

Aug 1 - Aug 3

Our last stop on our trip was Kelowna. We were so lucky to enjoy the best scenery of Kelowna because a couple of weeks later, it was burned by wildfires. Many structures were damaged, and Kelowna was in a state of emergency.

In any case, there are some of the many beautiful photos I took with my family.

We had a lot of ice cream during the trip!

Another fun activity that we did was the mural scavenger hunt! There were many epic murals around the city. After you visit all these murals with the Kelnowa app, you can claim a free t-shirt at the tourist center.

There were like 20 of these.

It was a hot summer, and I couldn't resist getting a slushie!

The best part of Kelowna was the beach. The sand was golden and soft. This beach was probably the finest in inner BC, in my experience.

So happy I booked a hotel that was close to the cultural district.

One last ice cream of the trip!

And... we were back in Alberta the following day!

This concluded my 12-day family trip driving from Calgary to Sooke and back. The total distance was 3194 km, averaging out to 6.7 L/100 km!
