12 Days of Family Trip: Part 7 - Kelowna

Aug 1 - Aug 3 Our last stop on our trip was Kelowna. We were so lucky to enjoy the best scenery of Kelowna because a couple of weeks later, it was burned by wildfires. Many structures were damaged, and Kelowna was in a state of emergency. In any case, there are some of the many beautiful photos I took with my family. We had a lot of ice cream during the trip! Another fun activity that we did was the mural scavenger hunt! There were many  epic murals around the city. After you visit all these murals with the Kelnowa app, you can claim a free t-shirt at the tourist center. There were like 20 of these. It was a hot summer, and I couldn't resist getting a slushie! The best part of Kelowna was the beach. The sand was golden and soft. This beach was probably the finest in inner BC, in my experience.   July 30 Activities: Capilano Suspension Bridge, meeting an old friend After spending so much money in the US, it was hard to believe I had to spend another $197 to visit the rainforest at the Capilano Suspension Bridge. The last time I visited this place was probably more than two decades ago if not three. I couldn't recall if it had many forest boardwalks, Treetop Adventures, or souvenir shops back then. Regardless, I was surprised this was such a popular tourist landmark where you needed to pick a time slot for your visit when purchasing the ticket. Indeed, there were a lot of visitors. I'm so glad I found a parking spot.  The lineup to walk on the suspension bridge was long. Good thing there were staff controlling the bridge's traffic or else I feared the bridge could break.   It was worth the wait. We got to see these tall, magnificent trees in a rainforest.      This tree's diameter was six times my son's tip-to-tip arm span.   We spent much of the day explor
